It is flat, it is fast, and it is a true test of your endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You start from\u00a0<strong>Rondo Rados\u0142awa<\/strong>\u00a0and head towards the Vistula via S\u0142onimskiego Street, then follow the riverbank south. Cycling along the paths under Warsaw&#8217;s bridges, passing the\u00a0<strong>Portowy Canal<\/strong>\u00a0and the historic\u00a0<strong>Fosa Legion\u00f3w D\u0105browskiego<\/strong>, you leave the city bustle behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route passes the baroque\u00a0<strong>Wilan\u00f3w Palace<\/strong>, the summer residence of King Jan III Sobieski. This is the last breath of great history before you enter the open spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along the way, you will cross a picturesque bridge at the mouth of the\u00a0<strong>Jeziorka River<\/strong>\u2014a great spot for a short rest and a souvenir photo. For fans of aviation, there is the\u00a0<strong>Konstancin-Jeziorna airfield<\/strong>, where you can get a close-up look at small planes taking off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Legendary &#8220;Gassy&#8221; and the Long Straight:<\/strong> This is where the heart of the route beats. This section is a place where the asphalt seems never-ending. It is here that road cyclists test their form on one of the most popular segments in Poland.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>After tackling the demanding climb in\u00a0<strong>G\u00f3ra Kalwaria<\/strong>\u00a0(Lipkowska Street), you will reach your destination. No trip to Gassy is complete without a visit to\u00a0<strong>G\u00f3ra Kawiarnia<\/strong>. It is the unofficial headquarters of the Warsaw cycling community. Drink an espresso, feel the &#8220;pro&#8221; atmosphere, and recharge your batteries before heading back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The way back is made more pleasant by views of the\u00a0<strong>Olszyna \u0141yczy\u0144ska Nature Reserve<\/strong>.
