This route is an absolute treat for those who want to experience the wild side of the Vistula without venturing far beyond Warsaw’s borders. The loop connecting Rondo Radosława with Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is a 70-kilometer journey through strikingly diverse landscapes: from metropolitan cityscapes and Baroque gardens to the sandy banks of the Vistula.
The expedition kicks off with a crossing of the Gdański Bridge, heading straight toward the northern reaches of the city. The trail follows the river, offering a mix of paved paths and gravel sections. A true “gem” along the way is the palace and park complex in Jabłonna—the perfect spot to slow down, grab a snack, and catch your breath in the shade of 18th-century oaks.
The next leg toward Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is pure adventure. The trail winds between wild beaches and technical singletracks that hug the Vistula’s edge. Here, you’ll truly feel the vastness of the river valley before reaching the confluence where the Narew flows into the Vistula. The return journey is a combination of forest tracks and flood embankments that will lead you back toward Rondo Radosława.
