This route is the true essence of the capital, blending majestic history with the city’s most prestigious addresses.

You begin at Rondo Radosława and head into the heart of Muranów. You’ll pass the POLIN Museum, whose modern architecture symbolizes a rift in history. Via Anielewicza Street, you reach Krasiński Garden—the perfect spot for your first stop. It is one of Warsaw’s most beautiful parks, featuring a Baroque palace and a modern playground.

Follow Miodowa Street toward Castle Square, where history meets the tourist bustle. Turning right onto Krakowskie Przedmieście, you enter the city’s representative “social salon.” You’ll pass the Presidential PalaceHotel Bristol (an Art Nouveau icon), and the University of Warsaw.

Instead of going straight, turn into Świętokrzyska and head uphill via Kopernika Street to discover Foksal Street. This was one of the most exclusive streets in pre-war Warsaw. Pay close attention to the Zamoyski Palace and the stunningly restored townhouses at numbers 13 and 15—their architectural details are breathtaking.

Via Nowy Świat and Rondo de Gaulle’a (the one with the palm tree), you will reach Plac Trzech Krzyży (Three Crosses Square), and from there, turn onto Mokotowska Street. This is a mecca for fashion and design—you’ll find boutiques by top Polish designers and atmospheric flower shops here. Mokotowska leads you to Plac Zbawiciela, famously known as “Hipster Square,” where you can grab a quick espresso in the shadow of the Church of the Holiest Saviour.

Taking Aleja Wyzwolenia, you’ll reach Plac Na Rozdrożu, and from there, enter Aleje Ujazdowskie. This is the most prestigious stretch of the route: you’ll pass Ujazdowski Park, numerous embassies hidden in historic palaces, and government buildings. In the distance, on Wiejska Street, you’ll catch a glimpse of the characteristic dome of the Polish Parliament (Sejm).

Head back toward Rondo de Gaulle’a, cross Plac Trzech Krzyży once more, and return via Nowy Świat to Krakowskie Przedmieście. If you still have the energy, take a detour through the narrow streets of the Old Town before heading back through Miodowa and Anielewicza to your starting point at Rondo Radosława.
